The LMT SOPMOD Stock is one of the most sought after AR15/M16 collapsible stocks available today. Special Operation Teams around the world use them. Our Standard Rear Sling has been a standard in the industry for ten years. We sell thousands of them, along with our Rear Sling Thing QD and The Rear Sling for Quick Clips. The problem is they don’t fit the combat tested LMT SOPMOD Tactical Stock. We felt it was time to fix that and give our customers a GG&G SOPMOD sling solution.

A small inexpensive CNC machined solid polymer adapter plate now mates the SOPMOD stock and any of our Rear Sling Things together. As can be seen in the photographs, the GG&G Rear Sling Thing LMT SOPMOD Buttstock Adapter Plate and the GG&G Rear Sling Thing fit the (contour) of the stock and it installs in just minutes. No additional screws are required; the screws normally included with our Rear Sling Thing kits are long enough to accommodate the adapter plate.
